AB  - The design of a smart medical tool that can detect the human pulse and transfer its data to a remote location is presented. The resulting control system can be used to detect the pulse wave of human obtained from the wrist area. Fabrication of the tactile sensor and its calibration procedure are discussed as well. Additionally, the design of the pulse display system and that of its control system along with the position feedback control are accomplished. The experimental results of the position feedback control system are compared with the modeling and good agreement is obtained.
