Therefore, investigations were carried out over the entire slip from no-load condition up to the locked-rotor condition, for harmonics of various orders in the case of using Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) speed control. The investigations gave the ability to optimize the performance of CRM by choosing the appropriate parameters of the PWM inverter. Mathematical model for CRM supplied from voltage source contained harmonics was presented.
