The FACTS devices Thyristor Controlled Series Compensator (TCSC) and Unified Power Flow Controller (UPFC) are selected based on the steady stability state and dynamic stability state. Each of the algorithms is coded in MATLAB and incorporated it with the conventional Newton Raphson’s load flow analysis.
