The objective attributes for this optimization are cost and effectiveness. The product of this optimization is a series of cost-effectiveness frontiers in the scattered graph which are used to select alternative designs based on the Indonesian Navy's preference. It is found that the Length of the submarine is 28 m with Diameter 4 m. The sprint power of 20 knots determines the motor power while the endurance power of 5 knots determines the battery capacity.
