Nanotechnology: Applications on Electrical Engineering

Description

Nanotechnology is an emerging research area, described as the science of manipulating matter in atomic and supra-atomic scale (nanoscale). It involves topics as the study of materials and its properties at this scale, the study and design of nanostructures, the study of phenomena and interactions that occurs in this scale or even how it is possible to take benefits of this studies to improve already well-known devices.

This special issue aims to compile articles about the application of nanotechnology on electrical engineering.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  1. Photonic nanodevices
  2. Plasmonic nanodevices
  3. Optoelectronic nanodevices
  4. Nanosensors
  5. Photovoltaic Technology
  6. Nanotechnology on Renewable Energy
  7. Nanotransistors
  8. Nanomaterials
  9. Nanocomposites
  10. Nanostructures
  11. Fabrication processes

We encourage the submission of original research or review articles, either from experimental studies or simulations results.
